To let you all know a little something about me, I am a spoiled brat! I have such a problem when it comes to getting what I want and waiting and blah blah blah! Well… as a gift for my b-day;) I received a cosmopolitan pink laptop. It’s extremely cute and I haven’t even had it for a year…but  when I saw these cute mini laptops I was so upset! They have all these hot new colors, plus designs and they are so sleek and small that they can fit right in your purse! If you’re thinking about getting a new laptop and you travel a lot or just want something small you should check them out. They come with a limited amount of space, but most brands let you build them up. There are just so many color options and designs for laptops now, it’s fabulous!

Our most fashionable First Lady,Michelle Obama is the cover girl for the spring issue of Vogue! Not only is she our 1st African American First Lady, but she’s the 2nd First Lady to ever grace the cover of Vogue! In 1998 former First Lady Hillary Clinton appeared on the cover. Invoking a similar image of Jackie Kennedy, Michi looks fabulous on the cover wearing a berry colored dress by 26 year old up and coming designer Jason Wu. In this issue she wears designers such as Narciso Rodriguez, Isabel Toledo and even something off the rack from J. Crew. ” I love clothes” she admits in this article… “first and foremost I wear what I love”! Michelle explains that she does care about what people say as far as her fashion choices, but she’s not afraid to take risks. Well Michi, we love your style and choices in fashion so far… you are truly representing as our First Lady!

So, I was flipping through my Vogue and I came across this ad for the new Visa Black Card. This card is made with carbon and is limited to only 1% of U.S. residents to ensure personalized service to every card-member! Black Card members will enjoy; 24-hour world class concierge service, luxury gifts,exclusive rewards program and an annual fee of $495. Visa has already been giving American Express’s Centurion Card (also known as the black card) some competition. I’m not sure exactly how much you have to spend annually to have a Visa Black Card but Amex is not with the B.S. The Amex black card is made of titanium and could be used as a weapon! Amex charges $2,500 per year, with a first time initiation fee of $5,000 on top of the fact that you have to spend $250,000 in a 12 month period! Which one would you choose? I applied for both of these cards and got a pink hello kitty card from Visa…LOL!

My Spa Day

I woke up feeling kind of down today, so I decided to try and shake off the negative and go to the Inizio Spa in Lowell, MA. Let me just tell you…those of you who have never been, need to make an appointment ASAP! Yes, it is a little  expensive but it is worth every penny! Although my spa day was a gift:)… I would pay for my next visit in a heartbeat. You owe it to yourself to be pampered every now and then. We get so caught up in our everyday lives and doing so much for others, that we don’t take time for ourselves and that’s when we start to lose it! I started out with a 60 minute  full body catania massage which was O’ so heavenly (I think I fell asleep)! Then I ended with a 60 minute facial which was actually my 1st facial and I loved it! I also received a bonus hand massage and conditioning as well as a neck massage…yes I was spoiled! A lot of people say facials are uncomfortable, but I say do what you gotta do so I can have healthy beautiful skin!! The facial wasn’t bad at all, I actually enjoyed it:) In between sessions, I sat there sipping my hot raspberry tea and trying to figure out how to fit a spa day in my monthly budget..LOL! All the ladies and men out there, you deserve to be pampered. Find a spa near you or get away for the weekend, it’s worth it! If you need help finding one just let me know and I’ll do the research for ya;) Pamper yourself a little…

Well, I finally got a chance to see the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic today… I must admit it was such a cute little movie! Based on the books “Confessions of a Shopaholic” and “Shopaholic Takes Manhattan”by Sophia Kinsella, this movie was the perfect matinee on a Wednesday afternoon. Starring Isla Fisher as Rebecca Bloomwood, a college grad with a shopping addiction who lands a job as a financial journalist in NYC. There’s only one problem…Rebecca’s finances are a mess and she is in debt up to her eyeballs, so who is she to be giving financial advice? Living in NYC doesn’t make it any better because here she nurtures her shopping addiction. I don’t want to spoil this chick flick for you but of course there is a love story in the mix:) Once again my girl Patricia Field showed her fashion expertise in this movie as costume designer! If you haven’t seen it yet go see it now, it’s a fun movie full of fashion and something every fashionista needs to see!

All my ladies please hear me out! If you know me than you know that I am the queen of fragrances. When I shower I use bar soap and scented shower gel. When I jump out of the shower I moisturize with cocoa butter then I layer up with fragrance lotion. I then spritz on body mist and then perfume (Chanel)! Sounds like O.C.D? That’s because when you layer fragrances they last longer! The number one thing attached to memory is SCENT! Our memories have a hypnotic pull when it comes to smells. It also makes a big difference when you step into the room looking fabulous and smelling sweet! When you smell good it starts conversation-”Excuse me, what fragrance are you wearing…you smell heavenly”! LOL…okay you get the idea! Ladies and Fellas, always remember to look good and smell good;
