OMG! So much has been going on in my real life that I haven’t been in touch with my Internet life, LOL! What’s this I hear? Sex and the City the Movie 2…I am super excited! Will we find out if Samantha ever settles down? Was Steve able to stay faithful? Does Charlotte have anymore children? Carrie and Big..need I ask more, LOL! I absolutely loved the series and the movie-I can’t wait for the sequel! I already know the fashion will be off the hook of course- Patricia Field is the costume designer Sex and the City the sequel is expected to hit theaters May 2010…I’m going to get a cosmo!

Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier -is now piecing together items for a new King of Pop inspired clothing line! Audigier and The Late Great Michael Jackson loved Ed Hardy and was the inspiration for a clothing line before his passing. The line will include pieces like; a red jacket with Jackson’s portrait, a black belt with a lard buckle reading “BAD”, and other fashionable pieces that put a staple on his iconic style! Before Audigier can launch the line he needs approval from Michael’s estate… time will tell~

If you haven’t already starting buying your fall magazines…WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???? There are so many different tips and tricks to help you shop smarter for the upcoming season! If you’re not one to buy mags you should atleast buy them 4 times a year when the seasons change. They’ll help for your seasonal closet transition! Of course I will be kind enough to go through these magazines, give you weekly tips and post fabulous fashion…but it’s always good to have a few fashion mags lying around-especially if you’re trying to figure out your own style

African American model, business woman and author , dies at the young age of 61. The beautiful Naomi Sims lost her battle to breast cancer this past weekend. Naomi was one of the first black models to ever grace the covers of prestigious fashion magazines. She was offered the role of Cleopatra Jones but turned it down because of the racist portrayal of black people! She later retired from the modeling industry wrote a few books and started a wig line that grew into a multi-million dollar beauty empire! Naomi also helped teenage girls by writing an advice column featured in Right On! magazine. Although she was often turned down and told “NO” because her skin was too dark, nothing stopped Naomi from reaching and surpassing her goals! Self -esteem is very important! It’s the reason why you make the choices to wear what you wear. Some women don’t even realize they have low self-esteem. If you never feel good in your clothes, or you avoid looking at yourself in mirrors-you have self esteem issues. Even if you plan on losing wait you must love yourself-the weight will go, but the love should stay! Love yourself from the inside out and trust me…no body will be able to put you down effectively! If you don’t love you- it’ll be difficult for someone else to love you! Solange was just recently spotted out on the town with a totally new look. She chopped all her hair off! Wonder what brought her to this decision?  She doesn’t want to spend her money, time or energy in the salon. I totally understand and feel where she’s coming from! I rock a super short cut when I want to. I can’t stand going to the salon! I do believe that people put too much emphasis on hair. Not to mention all the time and money spent…it’s draining. I love the look! Having short hair is freeing, trust me I know first hand…LOL! That’s exactly why I like Solange, she does her. A key item that should be in every women’s handbag is a bottle of lotion. I don’t care if you’re white, black or brown…you need lotion! Being ashy is never sexy and it ruins your entire look. Yes, we know you apply lotion over your entire body after showering…but everyone needs to re-apply a few times a day! Plus, think about the number of times you wash your hands a day. Ladies, ladies, ladies let’s get that ash in check! Hands, elbows, legs, feet and every other part of your body should be moisturized! Should I even mention lips? Carmex, lip gloss, whatever you like but no body’s lips should ever look like Pookie from New Jack City…moisturize that ash:-)
